Shipping & Returns

Shipping

Our shipments are processed by courier only, door to door business days (no Saturday delivery) and include, processing, packaging and handling fees. We do not post.
After payment is received, we ship the same day, if the stock is available.
Payments Accepted include Internet Banking, Credit Card and PayPal.
We courier products in courier packs or boxes and these usually require signing for.
North Island deliveries usually takes two working days on packages but overnight for Track Packs.
Rural deliveries take up to two to three days and have a small surcharge.
We will always try and combine more than one item into the same package to save cost where possible, but sometimes it is less expensive to send products in two parcels depending on size or weight.
Costs are Nationwide New Zealand and we do not ship outside of New Zealand.
CGAV contracts PBT and Mainfreight for larger items.
Minimum charge for small orders is set at $5.00 and all shipping rates are calculated based on weight.
Shipping rates are subject to change without notice.

Returns

In most cases you can return products you have bought online.

The Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act provide the basis for CGAV Returns Policy. For a product to be returned under our policy, that product must be in a resalable condition unless faulty or otherwise defective.
If a product is deemed unsatisfactory, we can offer to exchange it for another one or another product for the same value.
Proof of purchase is required in order to get an exchange or a refund.

How to Return a Product

Please send an email to sales@cgav with a description of the fault. We will email an RMA form that will need to be complete. You will need your tax invoice (receipt) available as information on this is needed as proof of purchase. Refunds will be credited against your original method of payment, eg to the credit card you used to make the purchase.

Refunds

We apologise if you have received a product that is faulty, or if you have received the wrong product. You are welcome to an exchange or refund. Please contact us at sales@cgav.co.nz.

Faulty Products

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act you are entitled to have your product repaired, replaced or refunded.
All products supplied by CGAV are vigorously tested to international standards. However, as with any product, there will always be the probability that a tiny percentage may exhibit a fault, which is why we provide a full one year warranty on all goods.

Wrong Product Delivered

If you have ordered something online and received the wrong product, we apologise and you are more than welcome to an exchange or refund. Please contact us on sales@cgav.co.nz.

Faulty Products

Damaged Product

If you suspect your product has been damaged during delivery please do not throw away the parcel or cover in which the product came as the courier company will need to inspect it. Please contact us at sales@cgav.co.nz and we will organise the return of the product for inspection and will endeavour to send you a replacement as soon as possible.

Backorders

If a product is temporarily out of stock it will be placed on backorder and you will be notified, if an item on backorder cannot be sourced within 14 working days we will refund you for that item.

Clearance Items

Occasionally our stock level information is incorrect; we work to ensure this does not happen but if a Clearance item is out of stock you will be notified and refunded.
